A couple of months ago I decided to buy a funny gadget, but I did not quite knew what sort of device I would buy. After some research and a couple of Redbull I found this device named: TV-B-Gone.

It draw my attention because of its small size and pretty awesome feature; turning on and off TV devices!
At first I thought that it’s price: $19.99 was a bit too much for it, but who cares about those couple of bucks anyway? So I ordered 2 of them! One for myself and another one for a friend.
Within roughly a week I got surprised by my good friend the mailman! I’m starting to see this guy as my santa because whenever I know the date of the arrival, I would be sitting and waiting all day infront of the window hoping to get a glimpse of the mailman and his orange mail van! Yeah… What can I do!?

Finally, here it is! The TV-B-Gone.
This device supports most of the TV brands in the market and is not limited to; DVD players, Radio’s, and other infrared devices. To get it to work, the device you are planning to turn on or off should be within 15 meters. At this moment you should press the only button located on the TV-B-Gone device and it would scan through all it’s pre-programmed codes, in order to find the correct code so it could turn on or off the device.

I have had alot of fun with this little device, together with some friends we started to prank shops in town, looking at the faces of the people working in the shops wondering why and how their TV’s switched off.
